(TGP) – The Arts Everywhere Festival is coming to the city at the end of January, inviting residents to a four day event featuring lectures, music, artistic performances, literary readings and more.
The annual Guelph Lecture On Being, cited as the festival’s inspiration and signature event, will enter its 16th year this month, what organizers call “a testament to the success of community initiatives and…creative ideas”.
The festival “aims to spark rich dialogues about issues, ideas, and challenges that are of the interest to our Guelph [and] Region audiences” organizers say in the event description.
A diverse and sometimes “unlikely combination” of speakers, artists and musicians at the festival “offers a program that connects to the ingoing work and needs” of those that aim to “make the world a better place.”
The festival features 25 presenters of a variety of ethnic and professional backgrounds with events starting at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 24 with an artistic performance–all free with the exception of the On Being lecture.
