(TGP) – After a hard-fought game the Guelph Storm lost to the North Bay Battalion 5-2 on Sunday at the Sleeman Centre.

The Storm were up by one after the first period thanks to Zach Poirior. The second Guelph point came from Isaac Ratcliffe. Shots on net stood at 48 from the Storm compared to 23 from the Battalion.

It comes a day after major trades by the Storm that included acquiring two Canada World Junior Team players and a third from the Flint Firebirds.

Those interested in future games can buy tickets at the box office outside the arena, watch on Rogers cable channel 20 or tune in with Larry Mellott on 1460 AM CJOY.

Guelph’s hockey reporter Tony Saxon of Guelph Today, who has covered games for 15 seasons, will likely post an analysis that will be linked here once it is up.
