GUELPH — Donny Hay, a community activist who has pushed for the establishment of a Medical Detox Centre in the city, is hosting an ongoing Addiction Support Group, saying on Sunday night it is open to “anyone whose life has been affected by drug use”.

“People should expect a safe place to share with compassion and understanding and hopefully,” Hay told The Guelph Post. The meeting will be held at in the upstairs of the Drop-In Centre in downtown Guelph, according to the poster advertising the group.
