Guelph Transit is considering the possibility of introducing a new transit route that would service the Hanlon Creek Business Park, and on Thursday asked the public for input via a survey on the options and the community bus program.

Staff have prepared three proposed route options for residents to give their take on for the “growing but underserved area of the community” in a survey online.

Each route loops Laird Rd. and Poppy Dr. E. at Gordon St. and heads west down Laird Rd. across the Hanlon. They differ with three separate western loops.

Guelph Transit also has a survey for the community bus service, which serves commuters who wish to reach key community locations throughout the city in one trip.

“We are exploring improvements to the service so that riders can reach their desired key locations more often and/or at other times of day,” the community bus survey says.

“We want you to tell us what you think so that we can make changes that will take you where you want to go, when you want to go there.”
