Lakeside Hope House, a community-focused organization downtown, is hosting a buffet breakfast fundraiser on Saturday in collaboration with the Downtown Guelph Business Association and the Wellington Masonic District.
Those wanting to attend will need to bring $15 and be there between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. — with all proceeds going to the non-for-profit to ensure services are maintained providing for “those citizens in need”.
Tickets can be bought at the door or from any of the three partnered organizations. There will be facility tours at 9:15 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for those interested at 10 Cork St. East.
Also present will be Jennifer-Lynn Schneider as a featured guest speaker, a local marathon runner who will speak on her experience overcoming drug addiction and the support she received from Hope House while doing it.
