The community is invited to enjoy live music from St. George’s Square for eight Friday’s in a row for this year’s annual Noon Hour Concert Series, which is hosted by RBC.

Free to the public, music lovers of all ages are invited to pull up a sun lounger under one of many sunshades, or perch on the Capistrano patio and enjoy the show whilst eating freshly made food and drinking a cold beer.

The series kicks off this Friday with a performance from Sara and The Filthy Rich, playing a variety of covers and originals to get us all in the mood. 

In the following weeks bhangra, campfire jams and social justice tunes will rock the downtown square from a variety of artists. all music is family-friendly.

June 14 will see G9 Bhangra Studio. The following weeks will feature the Mattie Leon Band, Shane Phillips and Band of People, ‘Twas Now, Kent MacMillan Band, Chesterfield and the Sofa and a conclusion to the series with Eleven 11.

This annual festival has been taking place downtown Guelph for over a decade. Organizers told The Post they are not even sure how long it has been going on.
