A 28-year-old Guelph man was in custody at the courthouse when officers found out he had cocaine on his person and was charged with possessing a controlled substance, Guelph Police said on Wednesday.
The man was wanted on a warrant for fraud, use credit card unauthorized and two counts of breach probation. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing, police detailed in a daily press release.
Three other men were arrested on warrants for varying crimes related to assault, possessing illegal drugs and failing to re-attend court for driving under suspension and impaired. All three were held in custody.
On Tuesday, police responded to dual break and enter’s that they are asking for public assistance with. One was a bicycle theft on Country Club Dr. and another was at two Walnut Dr. residences, where there was no theft.
