A 55-year-old man sustained what Guelph Police reported on Fridau as “life altering” injuries after a crash between his motorcycle and a Toyota Corolla.
At 12:20 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to the intersection of Woodlawn Rd. West and Arrow Rd., where investigators reconstructed the collision.
The 35-year-old female driver of the Corolla was treated at Guelph General Hospital and released.
Police commended the civilians who were first on scene and provided first aid to the injured motorcyclist.
Victim Services Wellington as well as members of IMPACT were on scene and provided emotional support to those who required their services.
If any witnesses require further assistance they are asked to contact Guelph Police and arrangements will be made.
