A collision took place between two vehicles late on Friday night on Eramosa Rd. and one of the drivers was arrested for impaired driving, however, there were no injuries, Guelph Police said.
A 30-year-old local female was charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance and Operate Conveyance at 80mgs or Above-Alcohol. She will appear in court on June 18, the police statement said.
Police said they are also looking for a man in regard to an incident on April 6 at 7:30 a.m. at the University of Guelph. If residents recognize him, they are asked to notify police.
Five arrests on warrant were also made on Friday.
A 21-year-old Cambridge female was arrested by Waterloo Police for failing to appear in court. She was turned over to the Guelph Police and will appear in court on July 2.
A Niagara man, 46, was arrested on outstanding warrants. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A Guelph woman was arrested on two warrants. The 21-year-old was additionally charged with fail to re-attend and four counts of breach probation. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A 42-year-old Guelph male was arrested on outstanding warrants and also held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A Guelph man, 30, was arrested on a warrant for Breach Undertaking. He was held for custody pending a bail hearing.
Police responded to 302 calls for service, an increase in calls from the day before.
