Guelph Police on Tuesday posted a short survey asking for community input to understand public perceptions around diversity in Guelph and to receive feedback on the development and implementation of the service’s Diversity Plan.

“Thank you in advance for taking the time to help our organization become more diverse and inclusive by completing the following diversity survey,” the survey homepage reads, which can be completed online.

The survey first asks residents to rank two statements such as “the membership of the Guelph Police Service is representative of the Guelph community” from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree”,

The second page then asks two questions, giving the choice of answering “yes”, “no” or “rather not say” for answers, before they submit the anonymous survey to the service.
