Guelph Police said on Wednesday that the day previous the Drug Unit seized a “large quantity” of cocaine amidst an investigation and arrested two men from other cities.
Police said in a statement its drug unit has been probing “a supply of cocaine and other substances within Guelph”.
Tuesday’s seizure included some 1,000 grams of cocaine, 50 Percocet pills, nearly $3,000 in cash and “other drug paraphernalia”.
A Kitchener man, age 23, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose and two counts of drive disqualified, and is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A Waterloo man, 20, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose and is also being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
