A young man was robbed of his shoes and the High Enforcement Action Team made an arrest, among other police activities details in the daily press release posted on Friday.

Guelph Police investigated a robbery on Thursday where they found that two days prior, three males — one age 18 and two age 17 — robbed a younger male of his shoes. All three were charged with robbery and will be appear in court in late June.

Officers on bikes and foot patrol downtown on Thursday arrested a man who had court-imposed conditions that do not allow him to be in 90 Carden St. and was subsequently charged with two counts of breaking probation.

After the arrest by the Guelph Police’s H.E.A.T., the 19-year-old was held in custody pending a court hearing, according to the press release.

Police made an arrest just before 3 a.m. on Friday morning after receiving a report of a break and enter at a Paisley Rd building that is under construction.

Police located a man near the area and an investigation determined that he was the man that had entered the building and he was brought into custody. The man had in his possession, a quantity of wire as well as tools.

The service is also looking for more information regarding a report of a break and enter at a Chancellors Way apartment on Thursday. Entry was gained through a window and a theft of electronics is reported.
