GUELPH — Youth across the city are holding a second climate rally at 1 Carden St. on May 24, following a Mar. 15 rally that saw hundreds take to the square to promote stewardship of the planet.

High schoolers have been very politically active in the last eight months, holding several protests against cuts to education and protesting the city’s actions surrounding climate change.

Organizers of the last rally on May 3 said that this event is not by them. The Guelph Post has reached out to the Facebook event page owner for more information and clarification.

Over 150 have marked themselves as interested or going.
