A 58-year-old Guelph male was involved in a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Edinburgh Rd. South and Kortright Rd. West on Wednesday.
The male was travelling westbound when he rear-ended another motor vehicle in the left turn lane at the intersection, police said on Thursday.
Officers attended and as a result of their investigation, the male was arrested for Impaired Driving. He will appear in court on June 28.
Separately, sometime overnight, a culprit or culprits entered a residence on Kensington St. in Guelph, stealing a number of power tools.
Anyone with information about the theft are asked to contact police.
