Guelph Police were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the area of Willow Rd. and Bagot St. on Sunday, and it turned out to be a black Infinity that fled from the service earlier in the day.

The vehicle had stolen licence plates attached to it.  A 19-year-old Guelph male was arrested for two counts of Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Recognizance. He was set to appear in bail court Monday.

Separately, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a Mercedes Benz sedan being operated in a suspicious manner was observed in the area of Silvercreek Pkwy South and Waterloo Ave.

Guelph Police conducted a stop and as a result the 27-year-old Kitchener man was arrested for Impaired Operation and Drive Over 80. He will appear in court on June 21.
