Guelph Police received information from their Halton counterparts on Wednesday that a 30-year-old female in Guelph’s downtown area was wanted on several charges.

They included Theft Under $5,000, Escape Lawful Custody, Fail to Re-attend Court and Breach of Probation.

The local police HEAT team attended to the area, located the female and she was subsequently arrested on the strength of the warrant.

She was later released on a “Promise to Appear” and turned over to Halton Police, according to a press release posted on Thursday.
