Though there are not a lot of details at this point on the city event page, a National Celebration of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples is taking place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

The event will consist of a traditional welcome, a drum circle, food and craft vendors, live music and dancing. The City of Guelph’s Water Wagon will be onsite to keep the public hydrated.

“All are welcome to celebrate the rich culture, unique heritage and notable achievements” of Indigenous Peoples on June 21 at Royal City Park, the city says on the event page.
