The City of Guelph said on Monday that the “Raptors Square” viewing was cancelled due to high-velocity winds that would not allow them to set up the inflatable screen that hundreds watched Game 4 on last week.

The city encouraged residents to find “a cozy indoor place to cheer on the Raptors”. Several downtown businesses are hosting viewings of the NBA Game 5 that the Toronto Raptors hope to win at home in Canada, giving them their first championship since they were founded 24 years ago.

The Raptors game will be playing Baker Street Station, Bobby O’Brien’s Irish Pub, Frank and Steins, La Reina, McCabe’s Irish Pub and Grill, Red Papaya Bar and Grill, Royal Electric Bar and Eatery, Sip Club, The Albion Hotel, The Ebar, The Palace, The Penny Whistle, The Wooly, Tony’s Billiards, Trappers Alley and Western Burgers and Steaks.
