The City of Guelph will make the call on Wednesday if residents will be able to watch Game 6 of the National Basketball Association on a blown-up screen in Carden St. in an event dubbed “Raptors Square”.

It was last Friday when hundreds descended onto the street in front of city hall to watch Game 5 when the Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors to lead the series 3-1. “Raptors Square” was cancelled on Monday due to high winds, and the team lost at home.

The next game starts at 9 p.m. on Thursday night at Oracle Arena, and the Raptors will try to beat the Warriors to take the NBA championship for the first time in the team’s history. If the weather allows, Guelph fans will be able to cheer them on from downtown.
