The Transit Action Alliance of Guelph, a non-profit advocacy organization formed to campaign for transit affordability, accessibility and frequency, is holding their annual general meeting on Wednesday evening.
The event is free for members and the main agenda item is to elect a new board of directors and celebrate what they have accomplished in 2018 and 2019. There will be refreshments and food after the meeting.
The AGM runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Co-Operators downtown Guelph. The Facebook event page says there is “limited capacity”, however, there are over 90 spots available.
“Transit in Guelph has fallen far behind with riders desperately craving improved service,” an unclaimed quote on the TAAG site reads.
“Becoming a member of TAAG is the most effective way you can help advocate for a brighter transit future for Guelph.”
