Guelph Police warned the public on Wednesday to “use caution whenever using online buying and selling sites” after a robbery on Tuesday morning.

“Multiple items” were stolen from a south end house on Tuesday that the homeowner had posted to sell online, during a time that the owner had communicated to the potential buyer that they would not be home.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Constable Patricia Pronovost at 519 824 1212 ext.7203 or Crime Stoppers anonymously, they added in a press release on Wednesday.
